Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026.
Farallon Capital LLC operates these websites and apps. This policy covers our websites and apps, including Bible Scroll & Study, PDF Redact, Comix Reader: Comics & Manga, Bandwidth Advanced, Declutter Desktop, Stealth Renamer: Files&Folders, and You-moji. It describes the current features; an app-specific notice will explain materially different practices before they begin.
At a glance Our apps primarily work with files and settings on your device. Optional connections can send information to providers you choose. Our websites use Cloudflare for hosting and security and save your chosen color theme in your browser. Please do not send sensitive documents, private journals, passwords, or cloud credentials with a support request unless needed and specifically agreed.
Website visits Cloudflare processes technical request information to deliver and protect the websites. This can include your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser or device information, and security events. We may receive aggregate traffic information and technical logs made available through our hosting services to maintain the sites and investigate abuse. The website code does not include advertising pixels or third-party behavioral analytics. Your theme choice is stored locally in your browser under farallon-theme; clearing site storage removes it. Cloudflare may use security-related cookies when necessary. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing practices.
Information in our apps Bible Scroll & Study: Reading progress, notes, highlights, journals, bookmarks, and preferences are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, the relevant app data is also processed through your Apple iCloud account. Notes and reading activity can reveal religious beliefs; you control what you enter and whether to sync or export it. Optional local study uses Ollama on your Mac; selected prompts and passages are sent to that local service. We do not operate that local AI service.
Comix Reader: Comics & Manga: Imported comics, library metadata, reading progress, annotations, and related settings are handled on your device. Optional Dropbox, Google Drive, catalog imports, or shared-folder sync communicate with the provider or server you select. That provider receives connection information and any data required for the requested operation. Authorizations may be stored securely on your device to keep a connection available. Device OCR, speech, and translation use the platform’s services; downloads of voices or language packs may contact Apple. Disconnect accounts in the app and revoke access with the provider when no longer needed.
Comix Reader on Android: The app sends usage and diagnostic events to Mixpanel to understand how features are used and troubleshoot problems. These events can include an app installation identifier, device model and software information, app version, library counts, reading activity metrics, file format and size, feature choices, error codes, and purchase or restore outcomes. We use this information for analytics and reliability. The app does not send comic files, comic titles, filenames, annotations, search text, or payment card details in these events. Google Play handles checkout and provides the purchase information needed to grant or restore Unlimited. Use our contact page to request deletion of information we hold.
Bandwidth Advanced: Network interface counters, speed measurements, usage history, data-cap settings, and network categories are handled on your Mac. The app measures traffic amounts rather than recording message contents, browsing history, or individual packet payloads. Reports you export are saved where you choose. Operating-system backups may include app data.
PDF Redact: Documents you open, OCR processing, edits, and exported files are handled on your device. Files you place in a cloud-backed folder may sync through that folder’s provider. Sharing or exporting a document sends it to the destination you choose.
You-moji: Photos and GIFs you import, composed reactions, captions, collections, favorites, and preferences are stored in the app library. Optional iCloud sync mirrors relevant library data through your Apple iCloud account. The Messages extension, iOS share extension, and widgets use the app’s shared local library. Spotlight indexes captions and collections on your device. Sharing or using a Shortcut sends content to the destination or action you choose.
